There and Back Again

$100.00
Sold Out

4” x 6” original watercolor painting by Shauna Kurihara

I have loved The Lord of the Rings since I saw The Fellowship of the Ring in theaters in 2001. Since then, I have probably seen that movie no less than 100 times. I have ready the books, watched documentaries, and dreamed about Middle Earth since that day in 2001. In November 2022, I finally had the privilege of traveling to New Zealand— the land of the Shire and Middle Earth for those that don’t know— and my heart could barely handle the excitement I felt over finally visiting Hobbiton after 22 years of dreaming about it. This is the first (of probably many) painting from the Shire, and I hope that it makes you feel all warm and cozy. I call this one “There and Back Again.”

Fine Art Giclee Prints of this painting are available for purchase in a variety of sizes in my Print Shop.

All paintings ship in 3-5 business days from time of purchase
